a Congregational minister, was born September 9, 1800, near Aberystwith, Cardiganshire, Wales. He was converted at fourteen years of age; soon after joined the Church at Woolwich; at the age of sixteen entered the college at Llanfyllin; was pastor at New Cross, Deptford, four years; and in October 1826, became pastor at Daventry, where he remained till his death, June 27, 1857.
