an English Wesleyan minister, was born in 1745. He was converted while at a boardingschool at Bristol; soon began to preach in the village of Somerset; in 1766 was appointed for Cornwall, but after a while retired from the ministry; in 1779 again entered the itinerant work; in 1817 became a supernumerary at Frome, and died March 17, 1832.
