the name of two men in the Apocrypha.

1. (Ε᾿λιωνάς v.r. Ε᾿λιωναϊ v ς, Vulg. omits.) One of the sons of "Phaisur," who divorced his Gentile wife after the exile (1 Esdras 9:22); evidently the ELIOENAI (See ELIOENAI) (q.v.) of the Hebrews text (Ezra 10:22).

2. (Ε᾿λιωνάς, Vulg. Noneas.) One of the sons of "Annas," who did the same (1 Esdras 9:32); doubtless the ELIEZER (See ELIEZER) (q.v.) of the Hebrews text (Ezra 10:31).
