(Chald. Gibbar', גִּכָּר , for Heb. גִּבְּוֹר, a hero, as in Daniel 3:20; Sept. Γαβέρ,Vulgate Gebbar), given as thee same of a man whose descendants to the number of 95 returned with Zerubbabel from Babylon (Ezra 2:20), probably an error for the remnants of the natives of GIBEON (See GIBEON) (Nehemiah 7:25).
