an eminent Spanish painter, was born at Madrid in 1632 and was instructed in the school of Miguel Manrique. There are many of his works at Malaga, Cordova, and Granada. In the Church de la Charidad, at Malaga, is a fine picture of 'The Triumph of the Cross; and in the cathedral, The Ascension of Christ, and The Assumption of the Virgin. He died at Malaga in 1698.
