a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born September 22, 1683. He studied at Leipsic, where he also lectured from 1709 to 1711. It was his intention to publish Kepler's manuscripts, which he had bought at Dantzic, but he only succeeded in publishing the first volume, as he could not get the support necessary for such an undertaking. Hansch died in 1752, leaving, De Justficatione Fidelium sub Veteri Testamento, contra Paresin Coccejanam (1702): De Mediis Cognoscendi Existentiam et Divinitaten Scripturce Sacre (1709): De Fundamtentali in Fide Dissensu (eod.).
