(Heb. Yoshbekashah', יָשְׁבְּקָשָׁה, prob. for ישֶׁב בְּקָשָׁה, seat in hardness; Sept. Σεβακαιτάν and Ι᾿εσβακατάν v.r. Ι᾿εσβασακά; Vulg. Jesbacas. sa), one of the sons of Heman, and leader of the seventeenth division of Temple musicians (1 Chronicles 25:4-24). B.C. 1014.
