(Heb. Pathrusim, פִּתְרֻסַים , plur. of Pathros; Sept. Παθρωσανιείμ; in Chron. Πατροσωνιείμ v.. r. Φαθερωείμ, Πετροσωνιείμ; Vulg. Phetru sinz), given in Genesis 10:14; 1 Chronicles 1:50, as the fifth in order of the sons (i.e. descended tribes) of Mizraim, who founded Egypt. (See PATHROS).
