(Heb. with the art. and collectively hash-Shikmi', הִשַּׁכְמַי, a patronymic Sept.' ὁ Συχεμί ), a family designation of the descendants of Shechem (q.v.), the son of Shemidah of the tribe of Manasseh (1 Chronicles 7:19).
