(Heb. Puni', פּוּנַי, a Gentile term, from Puvvuah, פֻּוָּה; Sept. ὁ Φουᾶ δῆμος v. r. ὁ Φουαϊ v ), a collective term for the descendants of Phuvah or Pua (Numbers 26:23). (See PHUVAH).
