Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
is a term sometimes used to denote the first Sunday after Easter. It is of comparatively late origin, and is derived from the Latin version of 1 Peter 2:2 : Quasi modo geniti infantes, etc. — "As new-born babes," etc. (See EASTER)
