hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm,

הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים

הַיְרִיעָֽה׃

בִּֽלְבָבְךָ֖

And it came to pass

בַּלַּ֣יְלָה

wə·’ā·mar·tā

וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֙

לְשִׁבְתִּֽי׃

יָשַׁ֙בְתִּי֙

since the time

that I brought up

the children

mim·miṣ·ra·yim,

מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם

miṯ·hal·lêḵ,

מִתְהַלֵּ֔ךְ

and in a tent

ū·ḇə·miš·kān.

וּבְמִשְׁכָּֽן׃

[the places] I have walked

hiṯ·hal·laḵ·tî

הִתְהַלַּכְתִּי֮

the children

דִּבַּ֗רְתִּי

of the tribes

so shall you say

to My servant

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ,

lə·qaḥ·tî·ḵā

לְקַחְתִּ֙יךָ֙

the sheepcote

from following

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

and have cut off

wā·’aḵ·ri·ṯāh

וָאַכְרִ֥תָה

your enemies

mip·pā·ne·ḵā;

and have made

וְעָשִׂ֤תִֽי

like to the name

of the great

hag·gə·ḏō·lîm

הַגְּדֹלִ֖ים

in the earth

Moreover I will appoint

וְשַׂמְתִּ֣י

for My people

lə·yiś·rā·’êl

לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל

that will plant them

ū·nə·ṭa‘·tîw

וּנְטַעְתִּיו֙

they may dwell

neither them

shall any more

the children

of wickedness

lə·‘an·nō·w·ṯōw,

לְעַנּוֹת֔וֹ

bā·ri·šō·w·nāh.

בָּרִאשׁוֹנָֽה׃

and as since

[to be] My people

and have caused you to rest

wa·hă·nî·ḥō·ṯî

וַהֲנִיחֹ֥תִי

your enemies

’ō·yə·ḇe·ḵā;

Also the LORD

he will make

that the LORD

be fulfilled

and you shall sleep

wə·šā·ḵaḇ·tā

וְשָֽׁכַבְתָּ֙

your fathers

’ă·ḇō·ṯe·ḵā,

and I will set up

wa·hă·qî·mō·ṯî

וַהֲקִימֹתִ֤י

your offspring

’a·ḥă·re·ḵā,

shall proceed

out of your bowels

mim·mê·‘e·ḵā;

and I will establish

wa·hă·ḵî·nō·ṯî

וַהֲכִינֹתִ֖י

mam·laḵ·tōw.

מַמְלַכְתּֽוֹ׃

and I will establish

wə·ḵō·nan·tî

וְכֹנַנְתִּ֛י

of his kingdom

מַמְלַכְתּ֖וֹ

and he will be a son

he commit iniquity

bə·ha·‘ă·wō·ṯōw,

בְּהַ֣עֲוֹת֔וֹ

and I will chasten him

wə·hō·ḵaḥ·tîw

וְהֹֽכַחְתִּיו֙

with the staff

and with the stripes

וּבְנִגְעֵ֖י

But my covenant loyalty

do depart away

mil·lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā.

מִלְּפָנֶֽיךָ׃

And shall be established

and your kingdom

ū·mam·laḵ·tə·ḵā

וּמַֽמְלַכְתְּךָ֛

lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā;

In accordance with all

had·də·ḇā·rîm

הַדְּבָרִ֣ים

and according to all

ha·ḥiz·zā·yō·wn

הַחִזָּי֣וֹן

and in and sat

you have brought me

hă·ḇî·’ō·ṯa·nî

הֲבִיאֹתַ֖נִי

in Your eyes

בְּעֵינֶ֙יךָ֙

but you have spoken

wat·tə·ḏab·bêr

וַתְּדַבֵּ֛ר

of your servant

concerning the distant

lə·mê·rā·ḥō·wq;

לְמֵֽרָח֑וֹק

[is] the manner

and thee? for you

your servant

to thee? for you Lord

For the sake

of For your word

and according to your own heart

ū·ḵə·lib·bə·ḵā,

וּֽכְלִבְּךָ֔

have you done

great things

hag·gə·ḏūl·lāh

הַגְּדוּלָּ֖ה

lə·hō·w·ḏî·a‘

to make your servant

you are great

zū·lā·ṯe·ḵā,

according to all

we have heard

with our ears

bə·’ā·zə·nê·nū.

בְּאָזְנֵֽינוּ׃

[is] like your people

ḵə·‘am·mə·ḵā

[even] like Israel

kə·yiś·rā·’êl,

כְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל

on the earth

for Himself as a people

wə·la·‘ă·śō·wṯ

וְלַעֲשׂ֨וֹת

for you great

hag·gə·ḏūl·lāh

הַגְּדוּלָּ֤ה

and things and terrible

wə·nō·rā·’ō·wṯ

וְנֹֽרָאוֹת֙

for Your land

lə·’ar·ṣe·ḵā,

you redeemed

for Yourself from Egypt

mim·miṣ·ra·yim,

מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם

[from] the nations

and their gods

For you have confirmed

wat·tə·ḵō·w·nên

וַתְּכ֣וֹנֵֽן

to yourself your people

יִשְׂרָאֵ֧ל ׀

as Your own people

you have spoken

דִּבַּ֤רְתָּ

Your servant

and concerning

establish [it]

you have said

דִּבַּֽרְתָּ׃

And be magnified

let your name

ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ,

[is] the God

and let the house

of your servant

lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā.

have revealed

have revealed

to your servant

I will build

has your servant

in his heart

lə·hiṯ·pal·lêl

לְהִתְפַּלֵּ֣ל

hat·tə·p̄il·lāh

הַתְּפִלָּ֖ה

hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm,

הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים

and your words

ū·ḏə·ḇā·re·ḵā

וּדְבָרֶ֖יךָ

and you have promised

wat·tə·ḏab·bêr

וַתְּדַבֵּר֙

your servant

haṭ·ṭō·w·ḇāh

Therefore now

let it please

and you to bless

of your servant

that it may continue

lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā;

have spoken [it]

דִּבַּ֔רְתָּ

and with your blessing

ū·mib·bir·ḵā·ṯə·ḵā,

וּמִבִּרְכָ֣תְךָ֔

let the house

of your servant

lə·‘ō·w·lām.
