לְבֵלְאשַׁצַּר֙

מִשְׁכְּבֵ֑הּ

of the matters

I was looking

in my vision

of the heaven

on the great

The first [was]

qaḏ·mā·yə·ṯā

קַדְמָיְתָ֣א

thereof were plucked

and it was lifted up

itself on one

it raised up

[it had] and three

in the mouth

of it between

[שִׁנַּיַּהּ

and they said

like a leopard

[gab·bay·yah

[גַּבַּיַּהּ

and had also four

wə·’ar·bə·‘āh

וְאַרְבְּעָ֤ה

lə·ḥê·wə·ṯā,

לְחֵ֣יוְתָ֔א

and dominion

wə·šā·lə·ṭān

in the night

[rə·ḇî·‘ā·yāh

(rə·ḇî·‘ā·’āh

(רְֽבִיעָאָ֡ה

and terrible

wə·’ê·mə·ṯā·nî

וְאֵֽימְתָנִ֨י

wə·ṯaq·qî·p̄ā

וְתַקִּיפָ֜א

wə·šin·na·yin

וְשִׁנַּ֨יִן

it had great

and broke in pieces

ū·mad·dĕ·qāh,

and the residue

[bə·raḡ·lay·yah

[בְּרַגְלַיַּהּ

with the feet

(בְּרַגְלַ֣הּ

and it [was]

mə·šan·nə·yāh,

מְשַׁנְּיָ֗ה

wə·qar·na·yin

וְקַרְנַ֥יִן

and it had ten

While I was contemplating

מִשְׂתַּכַּ֨ל

bə·qar·nay·yā,

בְּקַרְנַיָּ֗א

there came up

[bê·nê·hō·wn

[בֵּינֵיהֹון

(בֵּֽינֵיהֵ֔ן

and whom there were three

qaḏ·mā·yā·ṯā,

קַדְמָ֣יָתָ֔א

[’eṯ·‘ă·qa·rū

[אֶתְעֲקַרוּ

plucked up by the roots

(’eṯ·‘ă·qa·rāh

(אֶתְעֲקַ֖רָה

[qo·ḏā·may·yah

[קֳדָמַיַּהּ

and behold [were]

like the eyes

great things

ḵā·rə·sā·wān

were cast down

and the Ancient

whose garment

לְבוּשֵׁ֣הּ ׀

as snow [was]

and the hair

like the pure

kā·rə·sə·yêh

כָּרְסְיֵהּ֙

gal·gil·lō·w·hî

גַּלְגִּלּ֖וֹהִי

[as] burning

and came forth

qo·ḏā·mō·w·hî,

[’al·p̄a·yim

yə·šam·mə·šūn·nêh,

יְשַׁמְּשׁוּנֵּ֔הּ

and ten thousand times ten thousand

and ten thousand times ten thousand

qā·ḏā·mō·w·hî

קָֽדָמ֣וֹהִי

the judgment

and the books

of the great

raḇ·rə·ḇā·ṯā,

רַבְרְבָתָ֔א

mə·mal·lĕ·lāh;

[even] until

and destroyed

to the burning

and As concerning the rest

of the beasts

they had their dominion

šā·lə·ṭā·nə·hō·wn;

שָׁלְטָנְה֑וֹן

and were prolonged

were prolonged

in the night

[one] like the Son

ū·qə·ḏā·mō·w·hî

וּקְדָמ֖וֹהִי

they brought him near

haq·rə·ḇū·hî.

הַקְרְבֽוּהִי׃

there was given him

that a kingdom

עַֽמְמַיָּ֗א

and languages

wə·liš·šā·nay·yā

וְלִשָּׁנַיָּ֖א

should serve

yip̄·lə·ḥūn;

his dominion

šā·lə·ṭā·nêh

שָׁלְטָנֵ֞הּ

[is] an everlasting

and his kingdom

ū·mal·ḵū·ṯêh

וּמַלְכוּתֵ֖הּ

[that] shall

be destroyed

ṯiṯ·ḥab·bal.

תִתְחַבַּֽל׃

’eṯ·kə·rî·yaṯ

אֶתְכְּרִיַּ֥ת

in my spirit

in the middle

[my] of body

and the visions

yə·ḇa·hă·lun·na·nî.

יְבַהֲלֻנַּֽנִי׃

those who stood by

qā·’ă·may·yā,

קָ֣אֲמַיָּ֔א

and him the truth

wə·yaṣ·ṣî·ḇā

וְיַצִּיבָ֥א

and the interpretation

of these things me

and made me know

yə·hō·wḏ·‘in·na·nî.

יְהוֹדְעִנַּֽנִי׃

raḇ·rə·ḇā·ṯā,

רַבְרְבָתָ֔א

are four [are]

[which] shall arise

wî·qab·bə·lūn

וִֽיקַבְּלוּן֙

But the saints

of the most High

‘el·yō·w·nîn;

עֶלְיוֹנִ֑ין

wə·yaḥ·sə·nūn

וְיַחְסְנ֤וּן

and even for

‘ā·lə·may·yā.

עָלְמַיָּֽא׃

lə·yaṣ·ṣā·ḇā,

rə·ḇî·‘ā·yə·ṯā,

רְבִיעָ֣יְתָ֔א

[kāl·lə·hō·wn

(kāl·lə·hên;

(כָּלְּהֵ֑ין

[šin·nay·yah

[שִׁנַּיַּהּ

[were of] iron

and his nails

wə·ṭip̄·rayh

וְטִפְרַ֣יהּ

[which] devoured

broke in pieces

and the residue

with its feet

בְּרַגְלַ֥יהּ

and [of] the other

[ū·nə·p̄a·lū

(ū·nə·p̄a·lāh

[qo·ḏā·may·yah

[קֳדָמַיַּהּ

that a mouth

very great things

and whose look

חַבְרָתַֽהּ׃

קַדִּישִׁ֑ין

and prevailed

wə·yā·ḵə·lāh

yō·w·may·yā,

and judgment

in favor of the saints

lə·qad·dî·šê

לְקַדִּישֵׁ֖י

of the most High

‘el·yō·w·nîn;

עֶלְיוֹנִ֑ין

and the time

and the kingdom

וּמַלְכוּתָ֖א

that the saints

קַדִּישִֽׁין׃

rə·ḇî·‘ā·yə·ṯā,

רְבִיעָ֣יְתָ֔א

[rə·ḇî·‘ā·yā

(rə·ḇî·‘ā·’āh

(רְבִיעָאָה֙

on the earth

shall be diverse

mal·ḵə·wā·ṯā;

מַלְכְוָתָ֑א

and shall devour

and shall tread it down

ū·ṯə·ḏū·šin·nah

וּתְדוּשִׁנַּ֖הּ

and break it in pieces

wə·ṯad·də·qin·nah.

וְתַדְּקִנַּֽהּ׃

wə·qar·nay·yā

וְקַרְנַיָּ֣א

this kingdom [are]

[that] shall arise

wə·’ā·ḥo·rān

’a·ḥă·rê·hō·wn,

אַחֲרֵיה֗וֹן

shall be diverse

he shall subdue

יְהַשְׁפִּֽל׃

[great] words

the most High

he shall speak

and the saints

ū·lə·qad·dî·šê

וּלְקַדִּישֵׁ֥י

of the most High

‘el·yō·w·nîn

עֶלְיוֹנִ֖ין

shall wear out

to make atonement

lə·haš·nā·yāh

לְהַשְׁנָיָה֙

and they shall be given

wə·yiṯ·ya·hă·ḇūn

וְיִתְיַהֲב֣וּן

into his hand

wə·‘id·dā·nîn

וְעִדָּנִ֖ין

and the dividing

But the judgment

and his dominion

wə·šā·lə·ṭā·nêh

וְשָׁלְטָנֵ֣הּ

they shall take away

yə·ha‘·dō·wn,

יְהַעְדּ֔וֹן

lə·haš·mā·ḏāh

לְהַשְׁמָדָ֥ה

and to destroy [it]

ū·lə·hō·w·ḇā·ḏāh

וּלְהוֹבָדָ֖ה

and the kingdom

ū·mal·ḵū·ṯāh

וּמַלְכוּתָ֨ה

and dominion

wə·šā·lə·ṭā·nā

וְשָׁלְטָנָ֜א

and the greatness

[all] the kingdoms

shall be given

to the people

of the saints

of the most High

‘el·yō·w·nîn;

עֶלְיוֹנִ֑ין

whose kingdom

מַלְכוּתֵהּ֙

[is] an everlasting

šā·lə·ṭā·nay·yā,

שָׁלְטָ֣נַיָּ֔א

wə·yiš·tam·mə·‘ūn.

וְיִֽשְׁתַּמְּעֽוּן׃

[is] the end

my cogitations

ra‘·yō·w·nay

yə·ḇa·hă·lun·na·nî,

יְבַהֲלֻנַּ֗נִי

and my countenance

yiš·tan·nō·wn

יִשְׁתַּנּ֣וֹן
