wə·’ā·mar·tā

וְאָמַרְתָּ֤

the rebellious

let it suffice

your abominations

tō·w·‘ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem

תּוֹעֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

In that you have brought

ba·hă·ḇî·’ă·ḵem

בַּהֲבִיאֲכֶ֣ם

in foreigners

uncircumcised

and uncircumcised

to be in My sanctuary

bə·miq·dā·šî

בְּמִקְדָּשִׁ֖י

lə·ḥal·lə·lōw

when you offer

bə·haq·rî·ḇə·ḵem

בְּהַקְרִֽיבְכֶ֤ם

and the blood

and they have broken

way·yā·p̄ê·rū

וַיָּפֵ֙רוּ֙

your abominations

tō·w·‘ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem.

תּוֹעֲבוֹתֵיכֶֽם׃

שְׁמַרְתֶּ֖ם

of my holy things

but you have set

wat·tə·śî·mūn,

וַתְּשִׂימ֗וּן

of my charge

מִשְׁמַרְתִּ֛י

of My sanctuary

bə·miq·dā·šî

בְּמִקְדָּשִׁ֖י

of a foreigner

uncircumcised

nor uncircumcised

my sanctuary

מִקְדָּשִׁ֑י

of a foreigner

the children

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

are gone away far

from me when Israel

away from me

gil·lū·lê·hem;

גִּלּֽוּלֵיהֶ֑ם

and they shall even bear

their iniquity

and Yet they shall be

in My sanctuary

ḇə·miq·dā·šî

בְמִקְדָּשִׁי֙

Yet they shall be ministers

mə·šā·rə·ṯîm,

מְשָׁ֣רְתִ֔ים

[having] charge

pə·qud·dō·wṯ

of the house

and ministering

ū·mə·šā·rə·ṯîm

וּֽמְשָׁרְתִ֖ים

to the house

the burnt offering

the sacrifice

for the people

lə·šā·rə·ṯām.

לְשָֽׁרְתָֽם׃

they ministered to

to them before

ḡil·lū·lê·hem,

גִלּֽוּלֵיהֶ֔ם

to the house

lə·miḵ·šō·wl

לְמִכְשׁ֣וֹל

into iniquity

have I lifted up

against them

and they shall bear

their iniquity

do come near

nor to come near

wə·lā·ḡe·šeṯ

וְלָגֶ֙שֶׁת֙

of my holy things

הַקְּדָשִׁ֑ים

כְּלִמָּתָ֔ם

וְתוֹעֲבוֹתָ֖ם

But I will make

wə·nā·ṯat·tî

of the charge

of the house

‘ă·ḇō·ḏā·ṯōw,

that for all

shall be done

וְהַכֹּהֲנִ֨ים

of My sanctuary

מִקְדָּשִׁי֙

when the children

shall come near

lə·šā·rə·ṯê·nî;

my sanctuary

מִקְדָּשִׁ֗י

shall come near

lə·šā·rə·ṯê·nî;

לְשָׁרְתֵ֑נִי

and they shall keep

מִשְׁמַרְתִּֽי׃

And it shall come to pass

[that] when they enter in

hap·pə·nî·mîṯ,

הַפְּנִימִ֔ית

they shall be clothed

יִלְבָּ֑שׁוּ

while they minister

bə·šā·rə·ṯām,

בְּשָֽׁרְתָ֗ם

in the gates

בְּשַׁעֲרֵ֛י

of the inner

hap·pə·nî·mîṯ

הַפְּנִימִ֖ית

wā·ḇā·yə·ṯāh.

They shall have

and undergarments

וּמִכְנְסֵ֣י

mā·ṯə·nê·hem;

[themselves] with anything that causes sweat

when they go forth

ha·ḥî·ṣō·w·nāh

הַחִיצוֹנָ֜ה

[even] the utter

ha·ḥî·ṣō·w·nāh

הַחִיצוֹנָה֮

they shall put off

their garments

בִּגְדֵיהֶ֗ם

mə·šā·rə·ṯim

wə·hin·nî·ḥū

וְהִנִּ֥יחוּ

chambers them

בְּלִֽשְׁכֹ֣ת

and they shall put on

וְלָֽבְשׁוּ֙

yə·qad·də·šū

יְקַדְּשׁ֥וּ

with their garments

bə·ḇiḡ·ḏê·hem.

בְּבִגְדֵיהֶֽם׃

and their heads

shall they shave

yə·ḡal·lê·ḥū,

and allow their locks

to grow long

yə·šal·lê·ḥū;

יְשַׁלֵּ֑חוּ

they shall only

רָאשֵׁיהֶֽם׃

of the priests

when they enter

hap·pə·nî·mîṯ.

הַפְּנִימִֽית׃

wə·’al·mā·nāh

וְאַלְמָנָה֙

nor her that is put away

ū·ḡə·rū·šāh,

וּגְרוּשָׁ֔ה

shall they take

for their wives

from the offspring

of the house

that the offspring

wə·hā·’al·mā·nāh

וְהָֽאַלְמָנָה֙

they shall take

they shall teach

[the difference] the holy

cause them to discern

(yiš·pə·ṭū·hū;

(יִשְׁפְּט֑וּהוּ

my assemblies

they shall keep

šab·bə·ṯō·w·ṯay

שַׁבְּתוֹתַ֖י

they shall hallow

yə·qad·dê·šū.

יְקַדֵּֽשׁוּ׃

shall they come

lə·ṭā·mə·’āh;

or for mother

or for daughter

or for sister

ū·lə·’ā·ḥō·wṯ

they may defile

yiṭ·ṭam·mā·’ū.

יִטַּמָּֽאוּ׃

he is cleansed

ṭā·ho·rā·ṯōw;

to him seven

they shall reckon

and in the day

the sanctuary

hap·pə·nî·mîṯ

הַפְּנִימִית֙

in the sanctuary

he shall offer

his sin offering

And it shall be

wə·hā·yə·ṯāh

for an inheritance

lə·na·ḥă·lāh,

their inheritance

na·ḥă·lā·ṯām;

and possession

wa·’ă·ḥuz·zāh,

shall you give

bə·yiś·rā·’êl,

בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל

their possession

’ă·ḥuz·zā·ṯām.

אֲחֻזָּתָֽם׃

the grain offering

and the sin offering

wə·ha·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ

וְהַחַטָּ֣את

and the guilt offering

wə·hā·’ā·šām,

dedicated thing

bə·yiś·rā·’êl

בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל

And the first

the firstfruits

[things] offering

[sort] of your offerings

tə·rū·mō·w·ṯê·ḵem,

תְּרוּמ֣וֹתֵיכֶ֔ם

of the priest

lak·kō·hă·nîm

לַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים

and the first

of your dough

‘ă·ri·sō·w·ṯê·ḵem

עֲרִסֽוֹתֵיכֶם֙

you shall also give

to the priest

to cause a blessing

on your house

that is dead of itself

ū·ṭə·rê·p̄āh,

hab·bə·hê·māh;

hak·kō·hă·nîm.

הַכֹּהֲנִֽים׃
