וְיֽוֹחָנָן֙

וִֽיזַנְיָ֖ה

hō·wō·ša‘·yāh;

הוֹשַֽׁעְיָ֑ה

from the least

the greatest

way·yō·mə·rū

וַיֹּאמְר֞וּ

yir·mə·yā·hū

יִרְמְיָ֣הוּ

we beseech you

our supplication

ṯə·ḥin·nā·ṯê·nū

תְחִנָּתֵ֙נוּ֙

lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā,

wə·hiṯ·pal·lêl

וְהִתְפַּלֵּ֤ל

בַּעֲדֵ֙נוּ֙

’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā,

[even] remnant

haš·šə·’ê·rîṯ

הַשְּׁאֵרִ֣ית

נִשְׁאַ֤רְנוּ

מֵֽהַרְבֵּ֔ה

and may show

’ĕ·lō·he·ḵā,

Then Jeremiah

yir·mə·yā·hū

יִרְמְיָ֤הוּ

the prophet them

I have heard

שָׁמַ֔עְתִּי

[you] I will pray

מִתְפַּלֵּ֛ל

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem

in accordance with your words

kə·ḏiḇ·rê·ḵem;

כְּדִבְרֵיכֶ֑ם

and it shall come to pass

[that] thing

shall answer

I will declare

do I will keep

yir·mə·yā·hū,

יִרְמְיָ֔הוּ

and faithful

wə·ne·’ĕ·mān;

in accordance with the whole

for the that

yiš·lā·ḥă·ḵā

יִֽשְׁלָחֲךָ֜

your God you

[it be] good

[it be] evil

to the voice

’ĕ·lō·hê·nū,

we will obey you

to the end that

it may be well

to the voice

’ĕ·lō·hê·nū.

אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃

And it came to pass

yir·mə·yā·hū.

יִרְמְיָֽהוּ׃

the captains

of the forces

ha·ḥă·yā·lîm

and all [were]

from the least

lə·miq·qā·ṭōn

the greatest

שְׁלַחְתֶּ֤ם

your supplication

tə·ḥin·naṯ·ḵem

תְּחִנַּתְכֶ֖ם

If you will still

then will I build

do [you] pull down

and I will plant

wə·nā·ṭa‘·tî

וְנָטַעְתִּ֥י

do [you] pluck up

נִחַ֙מְתִּי֙

do are afraid

for I am with you to save

lə·hō·wō·šî·a‘

לְהוֹשִׁ֧יעַ

and to deliver

ū·lə·haṣ·ṣîl

וּלְהַצִּ֥יל

from his hand

And I will show

that he may have mercy on

and on you and restore

your own land

’aḏ·maṯ·ḵem.

אַדְמַתְכֶֽם׃

to the voice

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem.

אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃

into the land

do we shall see

and the sound

of the trumpet

and of bread

wə·lal·le·ḥem

will we dwell

of the LORD you

If you wholly

in to reside

Then it shall come to pass

wə·hā·yə·ṯāh

[that] the sword

mim·men·nāh,

shall overtake

and the famine

wə·hā·rā·‘āḇ

shall follow close

’a·ḥă·rê·ḵem

you shall die

so shall it be

hā·’ă·nā·šîm,

הָאֲנָשִׁ֗ים

they shall die

by the sword

and by the pestilence

ū·ḇad·dā·ḇer;

of them shall

has been poured forth

wa·ḥă·mā·ṯî,

the inhabitants

of Jerusalem

yə·rū·šā·lim,

יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם

shall be poured forth

bə·ḇō·’ă·ḵem

you when you shall

you shall be an execration

and an astonishment

ū·lə·šam·māh

וּלְשַׁמָּה֙

wə·liq·lā·lāh

וְלִקְלָלָ֣ה

and a reproach

ū·lə·ḥer·pāh,

וּלְחֶרְפָּ֔ה

you shall see

ham·mā·qō·wm

concerning you

O you remnant

of Judah you

I have admonished

(הִתְעֵיתֶם֮

in your hearts

bə·nap̄·šō·w·ṯê·ḵem

בְּנַפְשֽׁוֹתֵיכֶם֒

שְׁלַחְתֶּ֣ם

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem

אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם֙

הִתְפַּלֵּ֣ל

ba·‘ă·ḏê·nū,

’ĕ·lō·hê·nū;

that according to all

and we will do

wə·‘ā·śî·nū.

וְעָשִֽׂינוּ׃

and declared

[now] And I have this day

but you have not [it]

שְׁמַעְתֶּ֗ם

’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem,

אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם

for the that

[thing] he has sent me

Now therefore know

by the sword

and by the pestilence

ū·ḇad·de·ḇer

you shall die

in the place

bam·mā·qō·wm

ḥă·p̄aṣ·tem,
