Depart from evil, and do good; And dwell for evermore.

For Yahweh loves justice, And does not forsake his saints; They are preserved forever: But the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

Wait for Yahweh, and keep his way, And he will exalt you to inherit the land: When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.

Mark the perfect man, and look at the upright; For there is a [happy] end to the man of peace.

As for transgressors, they shall be destroyed together; The end of the wicked shall be cut off.

For your arrows stick fast in me, And your hand presses me intensely.

For my iniquities have gone over my head: As a heavy burden they are too heavy for me.

For my loins are filled with burning; And there is no soundness in my flesh.

My heart throbs, my strength fails me: As for the light of my eyes, it also has gone from me.

Those also that seek after my life lay snares [for me]; And those that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, And meditate deceits all the day long.

For in you, O Yahweh, I hope: You will answer, O Lord my God.

For I said, Or else they will rejoice over me: When my foot slips, they magnify themselves against me.

For I am ready to fall, And my sorrow is continually before me.

For I will declare my iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.

They also that render evil for good Are adversaries to me, because I follow the thing that is good.

For the Chief Musician, for Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. I said, I will take heed to my ways, That I don't sin with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, While the wicked is before me.

And now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in you.

When you with rebukes correct man for iniquity, You make his beauty to consume away like a moth: Surely everyone among man is vanity. Selah.

Hear my prayer, O Yahweh, and give ear to my cry; Don't hold your peace at my tears: For I am a stranger with you, A sojourner, as all my fathers were.
