And my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

For this cause we also, since the day we heard [it], do not cease to pray and make request for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, to all patience and long-suffering with joy;

who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love;

and through him to reconcile all things to himself, having made peace through the blood of his cross; through him, whether things on the earth, or things in the heavens.

yet now he has reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and unreproveable before him:

Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and fill up on my part that which is lacking of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church;

[even] the mystery which has been hid for ages and generations: but now it has been manifested to his saints,

to which I labor also, striving according to his working, which works in me mightily.

Take heed lest there shall be any one that makes spoil of you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ:

Let no man rob you of your prize by a voluntary humility and worshiping of the angels, dwelling in the things which he has seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

do not lie one to another; seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings,

Epaphras, who is one of you, a slave of Christ Jesus, salutes you, always striving for you in his prayers, that you may stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God.

and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, [even] Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come.

as you know how we [dealt with] each one of you, as a father with his own children,

exhorting you, and encouraging, and testifying, to the end that you should walk worthily of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory.

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of glorying? Are not even you, before our Lord Jesus at his coming?

to the end he may establish your hearts unblamable in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints. Amen.

that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor,

that no man transgress, and wrong his brother in the matter: because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as also we forewarned you and testified.
