In my trouble I called on Yahweh, and to my God I cried for help. He heard my voice from his temple, and my cry for help came up before his presence into his ears.

Because I have kept the ways of Yahweh, and have not acted wickedly against my God,

For you light my lamp; Yahweh, my God, lights up my darkness.

For with you I can charge a troop, and with my God I can scale a wall.

This God—his way is blameless. The word of Yahweh is flawless. He is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.

For who is God apart from Yahweh, and who is a rock except our God?

The God who girded me with strength, and made safe my way,

Yahweh lives, and blessed be my rock, and may the God of my salvation be exalted—

the God who executed vengeance for me, and subdued peoples under me,

May we shout for joy over your victory, and in the name of our God may we set up banners. May Yahweh fulfill all your requests.

Some boast in chariots and others in horses, but we boast in the name of Yahweh, our God.

O my God, I call by day and you do not answer, and by night but I have no rest.

On you I was cast from the womb. From my mother's belly you have been my God.

He will receive blessing from Yahweh, and justice from the God of his salvation.

O my God, I trust you; let me not be put to shame. Do not let my enemies exult over me.

Cause me to walk in your truth and teach me, because you are the God of my salvation. I await you all day long.

O God, redeem Israel from all its troubles.
