For You have made him lack a little from God; and have crowned him with glory and honor.

The wicked shall be turned to Sheol, all the nations forgetting God.

Through pride of his face, the wicked will not seek; there is no God in all of his schemes.

He has said in his heart, God has forgotten; He hides His face; He will not see forever.

Arise, O Jehovah! O God, lift up your hand; do not forget the lowly ones.

Why does the wicked one despise God? He has said in his heart, You will not demand it .

Look! Answer me, O Jehovah, my God! Make my eyes gleam, lest I sleep the death;

To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. The fool has said in his heart, There is no God! They acted corruptly; they did hatefully in deeds; there is none doing good.

Jehovah looked down from Heaven on the sons of mankind, to see if there were any discerning and seeking God:

There they were afraid of terror, for God is in the righteous generation.

A Secret Treasure of David. Watch over me, O God, for I take refuge in You.

Their sorrows shall multiply if they run after another god . I will not pour out their drink offering of blood; and I will not take their names on my lips.

I have called on You, for You will answer me, O God; bow down Your ear to me and hear my word.

Jehovah is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; He is my God, my Rock; I seek refuge in Him; He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.

In my distress I called on Jehovah and I cried to my God; He heard my voice out of His temple, and my cry went before Him, into His ears.

For I have kept the ways of Jehovah, and have not wickedly departed from my God.

For You will light my lamp; Jehovah my God will make my darkness light.

For through You I can run through a troop; and through my God I have leaped over a wall.

As for God, His way is perfect; the Word of Jehovah is purified; He is a shield to all who seek refuge in Him.

For who is God besides Jehovah? Or who is a Rock except our God?
