הַדְּבָרִ֣ים

And he laid him down

וַיִּשְׁכַּב֙

and turned away

and to him and said

wat·tə·ḏab·bêr

וַתְּדַבֵּ֣ר

is your spirit

הַיִּזְרְעֵאלִ֜י

your vineyard

or else if it please

[another] you vineyard

and he answered

his wife him

and be merry

let your heart

the vineyard

הַיִּזְרְעֵאלִֽי׃

so she wrote

וַתִּכְתֹּ֤ב

and [them] with his seal

וַתַּחְתֹּ֖ם

bə·ḥō·ṯā·mōw;

וַתִּשְׁלַ֣ח

[has·p̄ā·rîm

(sə·p̄ā·rîm,

hay·yō·šə·ḇîm

הַיֹּשְׁבִ֖ים

And she wrote

וַתִּכְתֹּ֥ב

in the letters

bas·sə·p̄ā·rîm

בַּסְּפָרִ֖ים

wə·hō·wō·šî·ḇū

וְהוֹשִׁ֥יבוּ

among the people

wə·hō·wō·šî·ḇū

וְ֠הוֹשִׁיבוּ

ḇə·lî·ya·‘al

to bear witness against

you did blaspheme

and the king

and Then carry him out

wə·hō·w·ṣî·’u·hū

וְהוֹצִיאֻ֥הוּ

that stone him

wə·siq·lu·hū

וְסִקְלֻ֖הוּ

way·ya·‘ă·śū

וַיַּעֲשׂוּ֩

[even] the elders

haz·zə·qê·nîm

הַזְּקֵנִ֣ים

and the nobles

wə·ha·ḥō·rîm,

were the inhabitants

הַיֹּֽשְׁבִים֙

Jezebel them

וְהֹשִׁ֥יבוּ

And there came in

way·yê·šə·ḇū

וַיֵּשְׁב֣וּ

and witnessed against

way·‘i·ḏu·hū

וַיְעִדֻהוּ֩

hab·bə·lî·ya·‘al

הַבְּלִיַּ֜עַל

against Naboth

in the presence

of the people

did blaspheme

then the king

they carried him forth

way·yō·ṣi·’u·hū

וַיֹּצִאֻ֙הוּ֙

way·yis·qə·lu·hū

וַיִּסְקְלֻ֥הוּ

ḇā·’ă·ḇā·nîm

that he died

Then they sent

way·yiš·lə·ḥū

וַֽיִּשְׁלְח֖וּ

And it came to pass

When Jezebel

and was dead

take possession

of the vineyard

hay·yiz·rə·‘ê·lî,

הַיִּזְרְעֵאלִ֗י

is not alive

And it came to pass

that rose up

the vineyard

hay·yiz·rə·‘ê·lî

הַיִּזְרְעֵאלִ֖י

לְרִשְׁתּֽוֹ׃

the Tishbite

הַתִּשְׁבִּ֖י

[is] in Samaria

bə·šō·mə·rō·wn;

בְּשֹׁמְר֑וֹן

[he is] in the vineyard

he is gone down

לְרִשְׁתּֽוֹ׃

And you shall speak

wə·ḏib·bar·tā

וְדִבַּרְתָּ֨

have you killed

hă·rā·ṣaḥ·tā

הֲרָצַ֖חְתָּ

taken possession

yā·rā·šə·tā;

And you shall speak

wə·ḏib·bar·tā

וְדִבַּרְתָּ֨

In the place

hak·kə·lā·ḇîm

הַכְּלָבִים֙

hak·kə·lā·ḇîm

הַכְּלָבִ֛ים

’ê·lî·yā·hū,

אֵ֣לִיָּ֔הוּ

have you found me

ham·ṣā·ṯa·nî

הַֽמְצָאתַ֖נִי

And he answered

I have found

[thee] you have sold

hiṯ·mak·ker·ḵā,

הִתְמַכֶּרְךָ֔

yourself to work

in the sight

I will bring

you and will take away

וּבִעַרְתִּ֖י

your posterity

’a·ḥă·re·ḵā;

and will cut off

wə·hiḵ·rat·tî

וְהִכְרַתִּ֤י

from Ahab him

who urinates

against the wall

and him who is shut up

bə·yiś·rā·’êl.

בְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

And will make

wə·nā·ṯat·tî

like the house

yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām

and like the house

the provocation

[me] you have provoked to anger

הִכְעַ֔סְתָּ

wat·ta·ḥă·ṭi

וַֽתַּחֲטִ֖א

[because] you have made Israel

יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

lə·’î·ze·ḇel,

hak·kə·lā·ḇîm

הַכְּלָבִ֛ים

יִזְרְעֶֽאל׃

hak·kə·lā·ḇîm;

הַכְּלָבִ֑ים

and him who dies

in the field

haš·šā·mā·yim.

הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃

like to Ahab

did sell himself

hiṯ·mak·kêr,

in the sight

And abominably

in following

hag·gil·lu·lîm;

הַגִּלֻּלִ֑ים

according to all

the Amorites

hā·’ĕ·mō·rî,

And it came to pass

הֲ‍ֽרָאִ֔יתָ

humbles himself
