And turning to the disciples, He said privately, "Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see,

for I say to you, that many prophets and kings wished to see the things which you see, and did not see them, and to hear the things which you hear, and did not hear them."

"No one, after lighting a lamp, puts it away in a cellar nor under a basket, but on the lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light.

And He was also saying to the crowds, "When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, ‘A shower is coming,' and so it happens.

And when you see a south wind blowing, you say, ‘It will be a hot day,' and it happens.

In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but yourselves being cast out.

Behold, your house is left to you desolate, and I say to you, you will not see Me until the time comes when you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!'"

For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost to see if he has enough to complete it?

And He said to the disciples, "The days will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.

And Zaccheus was trying to see who Jesus was, and was unable because of the crowd, for he was small in stature.

So he ran on before and climbed up into a sycamore tree in order to see Him, for He was about to pass through that way.

And He said, "See to it that you are not deceived; for many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,' and, ‘The time is at hand.' Do not go after them.

"But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is at hand.

And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

as soon as they put forth leaves and you see it for yourselves, know that summer is now near.

So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near.

Now when Herod saw Jesus, he rejoiced greatly; for he had wanted to see Him for a long time, because he had been hearing about Him and was hoping to see some sign performed by Him.

Some of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just exactly as the women also said, but Him they did not see."

See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself; touch Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have."

And I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘The One upon whom you see the Spirit descending and abiding on Him, this is the One who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.'
