And you shall return and obey the voice of the LORD your God, and do all his commandments which I command you this day.

For this commandment which I command you this day is not hidden from you, neither is it far off.

In that I command you this day to love the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments; then you shall live; and multiply exceedingly; and the LORD your God shall bless you in the land which you are entering to possess.

He said to them, Set your hearts to all the words which I testify among you this day, which you shall command your children to do, all the words of this law.

Pass through the camp, and command the people, saying, Prepare for yourselves provisions for a journey; for within three days you are to cross this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God gives you.

Anyone who shall quarrel with you and will not obey your word in all that you command him, he shall be put to death; only be strong and of good courage.

Command the priests who bear the ark of the testimony to come up out of the Jordan.

So Saul died because of the transgression which he committed against the LORD, and because of the command of the LORD, which he kept not,

These are they who crossed the Jordan in the month of Nisan, when it had overflowed all its banks; and they put to flight all the army that was encamped in the valley, both toward the east and toward the west. And the rest of the people he placed under the command of Abishai his brother, and they pitched battle against the children of Ammon.
