There shall they cry, and he will not hear, because of the pride of evil men.

He shall shew them their works, and their wicked deeds, because they have been violent.

Who provideth food for the raven, when her young ones cry to God, wandering about, because they have no meat?

And after the Lord had spoken these words to Job, he said to Eliphaz the Themanite: My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends, because you have not spoken the thing that is right before me, as my servant Job hath.

I have slept and have taken my rest: and I have risen up, because the Lord hath protected me.

(5-5) In the morning I will stand before thee, and I will see: because thou art not a God that willest iniquity.

(5-9) Conduct me, O Lord, in thy justice: because of my enemies, direct my way in thy sight.

(8-3) Out of the mouth of infants and of sucklings thou hast perfected praise, because of thy enemies, that thou mayst destroy the enemy and the avenger.

(15-10) Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; nor wilt thou give thy holy one to see corruption.

(17-8) The earth shook and trembled: the foundations of the mountains were troubled and were moved, because he was angry with them.
