After everything had been done, they led Jesus out of town to be crucified on a cross. A cowboy named Simon had come to town from his ranch. The Roman soldiers grabbed him and made him carry the cross piece because they were afraid Jesus might die before they got him to the cross.

He had to do it quickly because it was late in the day on Friday and the day of rest was about to begin at sundown.

But because of his love, he offered the chance for every cowboy and cowgirl to become one of God's kids just by believing in him.

John quoted words from the Good Book of Isaiah, "I'm a voice hollerin' from the back side of the pasture, 'Get out of the way because the Top Hand is ridin' into town.'"

Nate looked questioningly at Jesus and asked, "How would you know anything about me?"Jesus smiled and said, "Because I saw you sittin' underneath that fig tree right before Nate found you."

Jesus again smiled and said, "You believe in who I am because I said I saw you sittin' underneath that tree. But you will see many greater things than that when you ride for me. I'm tellin' you straight. You are going to see right into heaven and watch as angels come down and talk to me and go back up. I am the bridge between heaven and earth."

This was Jesus's first miracle, and his cowboys believed in him because of what they had seen.

But Jesus never let his guard down because he knew their sorry tendencies.

He didn't want anyone to see him talking to Jesus, so one evening after dark, he sought him out and said, "Hey boss, we all know you are from God because of the miracles you can do."

Sorry people hate the light because they are afraid that people will see them for who they really are.

John was out near Aenon doing his baptizing. He was there because there was plenty of water to baptize.

That's because God sent him and he speaks with God's words. The Top Hand is given the Spirit without any limitations.

None of his cowboys were there because they'd gone into town to get some food.

She nearly fell down when he asked her because Jews don't talk to Samaritans. She said, "Is there something wrong with you? Jews don't talk to Samaritans, and you're asking me to give you a drink?"

Now many Samaritans believed Jesus was the Top Hand because she had said, "He could see inside my soul and knew everything I had ever done."

And because of this, many people were saved.

The villagers said to the woman, "Now we believe, not because of what you said, but because of what he said. He truly is the Savior of the world."

The man knew that was the time when Jesus had said his son would be okay. Because of this, everyone in the government officials house believed in Jesus.

And with this power comes the authority to judge every cowboy because he is the Son of Man.

To be honest though, I don't even need someone else to verify what I tell you is the truth. I tell you the truth because I want you to be saved.
