And he did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.

And being grieved, the king, because of his oaths and because of those who sat to eat with him, he commanded it to be given;

And he answered and said to them, Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition?

he shall not honor his father. And you have made void the word of God because of your tradition.

And Jesus called to him his disciples, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days and have nothing to eat: and I don't want to send them away fasting, lest perhaps they faint on the way.

And Jesus perceiving it said, O you of little faith, why do you reason among yourselves, because you have no bread?

And he says to them, Because of your little faith: for truly I say to you, If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, Remove from here to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you.

Woe to the world because of occasions of stumbling! for it must surely be that the occasions come; but woe to the man through whom the occasion comes!

Then his lord called him to him, and says to him, You wicked slave, I forgave you all that debt, because you implored me:

They say to him, Because no man has hired us. He says to them, you also go into the vineyard.

Or is it not lawful for me to do what I will with my own? or is your eye evil, because I am good?

And when they sought to lay hold on him, they feared the multitudes, because they took him for a prophet.

But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because you shut the kingdom of heaven against men: for you don't enter in yourselves, neither do you allow those that are entering in to enter.

And because iniquity shall be multiplied, the love of the many shall wax cold.

And while he was sitting on the judgment-seat, his wife sent to him, saying, Have nothing to do with that righteous man; for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.

And he healed many that were sick with diverse diseases, and cast out many demons; and he didn't allow the demons to speak, because they knew him.

And not being able to bring [the man] to him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed whereon the sick of the palsy lay.

And he spoke to his disciples, that a little boat should wait on him because of the crowd, lest they should throng him:

because they said, He has an unclean spirit.
