But I will not drive them out in a single year, because the land would become desolate and the wild animals too numerous for you.

Do not let them live in your land or they will cause you to sin against me, because the worship of their gods will certainly be a snare to you."

They are to eat these offerings by which atonement was made for their ordination and consecration. But no one else may eat them, because they are sacred.

And if any of the meat of the ordination ram or any bread is left over till morning, burn it up. It must not be eaten, because it is sacred.

"‘Observe the Sabbath, because it is holy to you. Anyone who desecrates it is to be put to death; those who do any work on that day must be cut off from their people.

Then the Lord said to Moses, "Go down, because your people, whom you brought up out of Egypt, have become corrupt.

And the Lord struck the people with a plague because of what they did with the calf Aaron had made.

Go up to the land flowing with milk and honey. But I will not go with you, because you are a stiff-necked people and I might destroy you on the way."

And the Lord said to Moses, "I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name."

When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the Lord .

because what they already had was more than enough to do all the work.

Moses could not enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

"‘If anyone sins because they do not speak up when they hear a public charge to testify regarding something they have seen or learned about, they will be held responsible.

"‘If, however, they cannot afford two doves or two young pigeons, they are to bring as an offering for their sin a tenth of an ephah of the finest flour for a sin offering. They must not put olive oil or incense on it, because it is a sin offering.

Do not leave the entrance to the tent of meeting or you will die, because the Lord 's anointing oil is on you." So they did as Moses said.

Eat it in the sanctuary area, because it is your share and your sons' share of the food offerings presented to the Lord ; for so I have been commanded.

"‘These are the birds you are to regard as unclean and not eat because they are unclean: the eagle, the vulture, the black vulture,

I am the Lord your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy. Do not make yourselves unclean by any creature that moves along the ground.

I am the Lord , who brought you up out of Egypt to be your God; therefore be holy, because I am holy.

it is a chronic skin disease and the priest shall pronounce them unclean. He is not to isolate them, because they are already unclean.
