Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen me, have you believed? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed."

But the other disciples came in the boat, dragging the net of fish, because they were not far from the land, but about two hundred cubits away.

Jesus said to them, "Come, eat breakfast!" But none of the disciples dared to ask him, "Who are you?" because they knew that it was the Lord.

He said to him a third time, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was distressed because he said to him a third time, "Do you love me?" and he said to him, "Lord, you know everything! You know that I love you!" Jesus said to him, "Feed my sheep!

because he was counted among us and received a share in this ministry."

And when this sound occurred, the crowd gathered and was in confusion, because each one was hearing them speaking in his own language.

For these men are not drunk, as you assume, because it is the third hour of the day.

God raised him up, having brought to an end the pains of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it.

because you will not abandon my soul in Hades, nor will you permit your Holy One to experience decay.

Therefore, because he was a prophet and knew that God had sworn to him with an oath to seat one of his descendants on his throne,

greatly annoyed because they were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection from the dead.

And they laid hands on them and put them in custody until the next day, because it was already evening.

And because they saw the man who had been healed standing there with them, they had nothing to say in return.

So after threatening them further, they released them, finding no way to punish them on account of the people, because they were all praising God for what had happened.

For there was not even anyone needy among them, because all those who were owners of plots of land or houses were selling them and bringing the proceeds of the things that were sold

And now I tell you, keep away from these men, and leave them alone, because if this plan or this matter is from people, it will be overthrown.

So they went out from the presence of the Sanhedrin rejoicing, because they had been considered worthy to be dishonored for the sake of the name.

Now in these days, as the disciples were increasing in number, a complaint arose by the Greek-speaking Jews against the Hebraic Jews because their widows were being overlooked in the daily distribution of food.

And the patriarchs, because they were jealous of Joseph, sold him into Egypt. And God was with him,

And they were paying attention to him because for a long time he had astonished them with his magic.
