Boiling over as water, you shall not have the pre-eminence; Because you went up to your father's bed; Then you defiled it: he went up to my couch.

The archers have intensely grieved him because they shot at him, and persecuted him:

So you shall say to Joseph, Forgive, I pray you now, the transgression of your brothers, and their sin, because they did to you evil. And now, we pray you, forgive the transgression of the slaves of the God of your father. And Joseph wept when they spoke to him.

But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and the more they spread abroad. And they were grieved because of the sons of Israel.

And the midwives said to Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered before the midwife comes to them.

And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them households.

And the child grew, and she brought him to Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. And she named him Moses, and said, Because I drew him out of the water.

So he let him alone. Then she said, A bridegroom of blood [you are], because of the circumcision.

and they said to them, Yahweh look at you, and judge: because you have made our savor to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his slaves, to put a sword in their hand to slay us.

And the sacred scholars could not stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boils were on the sacred scholars, and on all the Egyptians.

And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt; for it wasn't leavened, because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victuals.

And you shall tell your son in that day, saying, It is because of that which Yahweh did for me when I came forth out of Egypt.

And they said to Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? why have you dealt thus with us, to bring us forth out of Egypt?

and in the morning, then you shall see the glory of Yahweh; because he hears your murmurings against Yahweh: and what are we, that you murmur against us?

And Moses said, [This shall be], when Yahweh shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; because Yahweh hears your murmurings which you murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against Yahweh.

And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the striving of the sons of Israel, and because they tempted Yahweh, saying, Is Yahweh among us, or not?

And Moses said to his father-in-law, Because the people come to me to inquire of God:

And mount Sinai, the whole of it, smoked, because Yahweh descended on it in fire; and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.

And they shall eat those things with which atonement was made, to consecrate [and] to sanctify them: but a stranger shall not eat, because they are holy.

And if anything of the flesh of the consecration, or of the bread, remains to the morning, then you shall burn the remainder with fire: it shall not be eaten, because it is holy.
