Par`oh said to Yosef, "I am Par`oh, and without you shall no man lift up his hand or his foot in all the land of Mitzrayim."

May El Shaddai give you mercy before the man, that he may release to you your other brother and Binyamin. If I am bereaved of my children, I am bereaved."

Yosef said to his brothers, "I am Yosef! Does my father still live?" His brothers couldn't answer him; for they were terrified at his presence.

Yosef said to his brothers, "Come near to me, please." They came near. "He said, I am Yosef, your brother, whom you sold into Mitzrayim.

God spoke to Yisra'el in the visions of the night, and said, "Ya`akov, Ya`akov!" He said, "Here I am."

He said, "I am God, the God of your father. Don't be afraid to go down into Mitzrayim; for there I will make of you a great nation.

Yisra'el said to Yosef, "Behold, I am dying, but God will be with you, and bring you again to the land of your fathers.

He charged them, and said to them, "I am to be gathered to my people. Bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of `Efron the Hittite,

'My father made me swear, saying, "Behold, I am dying. Bury me in my grave which I have dug for myself in the land of Kana`an." Now therefore, please let me go up and bury my father, and I will come again.'"

Yosef said to them, "Don't be afraid, for am I in the place of God?

Yosef said to his brothers, "I am dying, but God will surely visit you, and bring you up out of this land to the land which he swore to Avraham, to Yitzchak, and to Ya`akov."

When the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the midst of the bush, and said, "Moshe! Moshe!" He said, "Here I am."

Moreover he said, "I am the God of your father, the God of Avraham, the God of Yitzchak, and the God of Ya`akov." Moshe hid his face; for he was afraid to look at God.

Moshe said to God, "Who am I, that I should go to Par`oh, and that I should bring forth the children of Yisra'el out of Mitzrayim?"

God said to Moshe, "I AM WHO I AM," and he said, "You shall tell the children of Yisra'el this: "I AM has sent me to you."

Moshe said to the LORD, "Oh, Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before now, nor since you have spoken to your servant; for I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue."

God spoke to Moshe, and said to him, "I am the LORD;

Therefore tell the children of Yisra'el, 'I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Mitzrim, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments:

and I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God; and you shall know that I am the LORD your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Mitzrim.

I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Avraham, to Yitzchak, and to Ya`akov; and I will give it to you for a heritage: I am the LORD.'"
