And they were all amazed, so they debated among themselves, saying, "What is this? A new teaching with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him."

He said to them, "Let's go somewhere else to the towns nearby, so that I may also preach there; for this is why I came."

And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer space, not even near the door; and He was speaking the word to them.

"But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins"—He said to the paralyzed man,

And he got up and immediately picked up the pallet and went out in the sight of everyone, so that they were all amazed and were glorifying God, saying, "We have never seen anything like this!"

"So the Son of Man is Lord, even of the Sabbath."

And they were watching Him closely to see if He would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse Him.

And He told His disciples to see that a boat would be ready for Him because of the masses, so that they would not crowd Him;

And He appointed twelve, so that they would be with Him and that He could send them out to preach,

And so He called them to Himself and began speaking to them in parables: "How can Satan cast out Satan?

so that WHILE SEEING THEY MAY SEE, AND NOT PERCEIVE, AND WHILE HEARING, THEY MAY HEAR, AND NOT UNDERSTAND, OTHERWISE THEY MIGHT RETURN AND IT WOULD BE FORGIVEN THEM."

And with many such parables He was speaking the word to them, so far as they were able to understand it;

And a fierce gale of wind developed, and the waves were breaking over the boat so much that the boat was already filling with water.

And the demons begged Him, saying, "Send us into the pigs so that we may enter them."

and pleaded with Him earnestly, saying, "My little daughter is at the point of death; please come and lay Your hands on her, so that she will get well and live."

And Herodias held a grudge against him and wanted to put him to death, and could not do so;

send them away so that they may go into the surrounding countryside and villages and buy themselves something to eat."

And He said to them, "Are you so lacking in understanding as well? Do you not understand that whatever goes into the person from outside cannot defile him,

and whenever it seizes him, it slams him to the ground, and he foams at the mouth and grinds his teeth and becomes stiff. And I told Your disciples so that they would cast it out, but they could not do it."

And after crying out and throwing him into terrible convulsions, it came out; and the boy became so much like a corpse that most of them said, "He is dead!"
