And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that they wearied themselves to find the door.

So they made a covenant at Beer-sheba. And Abimelech rose up, and Phicol the captain of his host, and they returned into the land of the Philistines.

And she hurried, and let down her pitcher from her shoulder, and said, Drink, and I will give your camels to drink also. So I drank, and she made the camels to drink also.

And the sons struggled together inside her. And she said, If it is so, why is this happening to me? And she went to inquire of Yahweh.

And Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils. And he ate and drank, and rose up, and went his way. So Esau despised his birthright.

And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his elder son, and said to him, My son. And he said to him, Here I am.

And you shall bring it to your father, that he may eat, so that he may bless you before his death.

And Isaac said to his son, How is it that you have found it so quickly, my son? And he said, Because Yahweh your God sent me success.

And he did not discern him, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esau's hands. So he blessed him.

so that I come again to my father's house in peace, and Yahweh will be my God,

And Laban said, It is not so done in our place, to give the younger before the first-born.

And Jacob did so, and fulfilled her week. And he gave him Rachel his daughter as wife.

So shall my righteousness answer for me hereafter, when you shall come concerning my wages that are before you: every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and black among the sheep, that [if found] with me, shall be counted stolen.

but when the flock was feeble, he didn't put them in: so the feebler were Laban's, and the stronger Jacob's.

So he fled with all that he had; and he rose up, and passed over the River, and set his face toward the mountain of Gilead.

So the present passed over before him: and he himself lodged that night in the company.
