"Whenever you fast, do not put on a gloomy face as the hypocrites do, for they neglect their appearance so that they will be noticed by men when they are fasting. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.

so that your fasting will not be noticed by men, but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

"The eye is the lamp of the body; so then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light.

"But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!

"So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

"Do not judge so that you will not be judged.

"So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.

"So then, you will know them by their fruits.

And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being covered with the waves; but Jesus Himself was asleep.

When He came to the other side into the country of the Gadarenes, two men who were demon-possessed met Him as they were coming out of the tombs. They were so extremely violent that no one could pass by that way.

"But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins"—then He said to the paralytic, "Get up, pick up your bed and go home."

Jesus got up and began to follow him, and so did His disciples.

"Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves.

"So do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.

And a man was there whose hand was withered. And they questioned Jesus, asking, "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?"—so that they might accuse Him.

"How much more valuable then is a man than a sheep! So then, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath."

Then a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute was brought to Jesus, and He healed him, so that the mute man spoke and saw.

for just as JONAH WAS THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS IN THE BELLY OF THE SEA MONSTER, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

And large crowds gathered to Him, so He got into a boat and sat down, and the whole crowd was standing on the beach.

and this is smaller than all other seeds, but when it is full grown, it is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that THE BIRDS OF THE AIR come and NEST IN ITS BRANCHES."
