Then the Lord turned and looked at Peter. So Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had said to him, "Before the rooster crows today, you will deny Me three times."

So Pilate asked Him, "Are You the King of the Jews?" He answered him, "You have said it."

So he kept asking Him questions, but Jesus did not answer him.

So Pilate decided to grant their demand

So the women were terrified and bowed down to the ground. "Why are you looking for the living among the dead?" asked the men.

Peter, however, got up and ran to the tomb. When he stooped to look in, he saw only the linen cloths. So he went home, amazed at what had happened.

"What things?" He asked them. So they said to Him, "The things concerning Jesus the Nazarene, who was a Prophet powerful in action and speech before God and all the people,

But they urged Him: "Stay with us, because it's almost evening, and now the day is almost over." So He went in to stay with them.

So they said to each other, "Weren't our hearts ablaze within us while He was talking with us on the road and explaining the Scriptures to us?"

So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish,

He came as a witness to testify about the light, so that all might believe through him.

So they asked him, "Why then do you baptize if you aren't the Messiah, or Elijah, or the Prophet?"

I didn't know Him, but I came baptizing with water so He might be revealed to Israel."

"Come and you'll see," He replied. So they went and saw where He was staying, and they stayed with Him that day. It was about 10 in the morning.

Philip found Nathanael and told him, "We have found the One Moses wrote about in the Law (and so did the prophets): Jesus the son of Joseph, from Nazareth!"

"Fill the jars with water," Jesus told them. So they filled them to the brim.

The Jewish Passover was near, so Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

So the Jews replied to Him, "What sign of authority will You show us for doing these things?"

So when He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this. And they believed the Scripture and the statement Jesus had made.

The wind blows where it pleases, and you hear its sound, but you don't know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."
