And after that the Levites went in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron and before his sons; as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did unto them the children of Israel.

And they kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month, at evening, in the wilderness of Sinai; according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel.

And there were certain men who were defiled by touching the dead body of a man so that they could not keep the passover on that day; and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day.

And if a proselyte shall sojourn among you and will keep the passover to the LORD, according to the ordinance of the passover and according to its statutes, so shall he do; you shall have one ordinance, both for the proselyte and for the native of the land.

So it was always: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night;

Not so with my servant Moses, who is faithful in all my house.

So they went up and spied out the land from the wilderness of Zin to Rehob, which is at the entrance of Hamath.

There we saw giants, the sons of giants, the descendants of giants; and we were in their sight like grasshoppers, and so we were in their eyes.

Say to them, As I live, says the LORD, as you have spoken in my presence, so will I do to you;

According to the number that you shall prepare, so shall you do to every one according to their number.

And if a proselyte, sojourn with you, or whoever is among you throughout your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour to the LORD; as you do, so shall he do.

You shall offer up a cake of the first of your dough as an offering to the LORD; as you make the offering of the threshing floor, so shall you offer it.

So they took every man his censer, and put fire into it, and laid incense upon it, and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the congregation with Moses and Aaron.

So they withdrew from the tents of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram; and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents with their wives and their sons and their little ones.

So Eleazar the priest took the bronze censers, with which they who were burned had offered incense, and they were made thin plates for a covering of the altar,

To be a memorial to the children of Israel, so that no stranger, who is not of the descendants of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the LORD; that he be not as Korah and all his company, whom the earth opened its mouth and swallowed, just as the LORD had spoken by the hand of Moses.

And the LORD said to Moses, Bring Aarons rod back before the testimony, to be kept as a token for the rebellious children; so that their murmurings may cease from me, that they die not.

And Moses did so; as the LORD commanded him, so did he.

Take the rod, and gather the assembly together, you and Aaron your brother, and speak over the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth its water, and you shall bring forth to them water out of the rock, so that you shall give the congregation and their cattle drink.

And the LORD sent fiery serpents against the people, and they bit the people, so that many people of Israel died.
