As a shepherd looks for his sheep when they are not together, so I will look for My sheep. And I will save them from all the places where they were spread out on a day of clouds and darkness.

So the Lord God says to them, "I Myself will judge between the fat sheep and the weak sheep.

So as I live," says the Lord God, "I will give you over to death, and you will not get away from death. Since you have not hated killing, death will come after you.

So as I live," says the Lord God, "I will punish you for your anger and the jealousy you showed because of your hate toward them. And I will make Myself known among them when I judge you.

As you had joy because the land of Israel was destroyed, so I will do to you. You will be destroyed, O Mount Seir, and all Edom, all of it. Then they will know that I am the Lord."'

So tell the mountains of Israel, ‘The Lord God says, "They have made you a waste land, and destroyed you from every side. You were taken by the rest of the nations for their own. And the people have been saying bad things about you."'"

So, mountains of Israel, hear the Word of the Lord God. This is what the Lord God says to the mountains, the hills, the valleys, the destroyed places and empty cities, which have been robbed and made fun of by the rest of the nations around them.

‘So speak about the land of Israel, and tell the mountains, the hills, and valleys, "The Lord God says, ‘I speak in My jealousy and anger because you have been put to shame by the nations.'

So the Lord God says, ‘I promise that the nations around you will also suffer shame.

So I poured out My anger upon them because of the blood they had poured on the land, and because they had made it sinful with their false gods.

"So tell the people of Israel, ‘The Lord God says, "It is not because of you, O people of Israel, that I am about to act. It is because of My holy name, which you have put to shame among the nations where you have gone.

I will have the trees give much fruit and the fields give much food. So you will never again suffer the shame of going hungry among the nations.

So I spoke as I was told. And as I spoke, there was a noise, the sound of bones hitting against each other. The bones came together, bone to bone.

So I spoke as I had been told. The breath came into them, and they came to life and stood on their feet. They were a large army.

So speak in My name and tell them, ‘The Lord God says, "I will open your graves, My people, and make you come out of them. And I will bring you into the land of Israel.

Then join them together into one stick so that they will become one in your hand.

"So, son of man, speak in My name and tell Gog, ‘The Lord God says, "On that day when My people Israel are living in peace and without fear, will you not know it?

You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud covering the land. In the last days, O Gog, I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me when I show Myself holy through you in front of their eyes."

(There will be a city called Hamonah there also.) And so they will make the land clean."'"

The nations will know that the people of Israel were taken from their land because of their sin, because they were not faithful to Me. So I hid My face from them and gave them over to those who hated them, and they died in battle.
