So if You worship me, it will all be Yours."

and they will lift You up in their hands, so that You will not strike Your foot against a stone.'"

After Jesus had left the synagogue, He went to the home of Simon, whose mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever. So they appealed to Jesus on her behalf,

"Master," Simon replied, "we have worked through the night without catching anything. But because You say so, I will let down the nets."

When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to tear.

So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.

and so were his partners James and John, the sons of Zebedee. "Do not be afraid," Jesus said to Simon, "from now on you will catch men."

but they could not find a way through the crowd. So they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus.

But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on the earth to forgive sins..." He said to the paralytic, "I tell you, get up, pick up your mat, and go home."

But Jesus knew their thoughts and said to the man with the withered hand, "Get up and stand among us." So he got up and stood there.

And after looking around at all of them, He said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." He did so, and it was restored.

So Jesus went with them. But when He was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends with the message: "Lord, do not trouble Yourself, for I am not worthy to have You come under my roof.

So John called two of his disciples and sent them to ask the Lord, "Are You the One who was to come, or should we look for someone else?"

So He replied, "Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor.

He replied, "The knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, 'though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.'

The seeds along the path are those who hear, but the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.

No one lights a lamp and covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, he sets it on a lampstand, so those who enter can see the light.

One day Jesus said to His disciples, "Let us cross to the other side of the lake." So He got into a boat with them and set out.

As they sailed, He fell asleep, and a squall came down on the lake, so that the boat was being swamped, and they were in great danger.
