but because he has a defect, he must not go near the curtain or approach the altar, so as not to desecrate My sanctuaries. For I am the LORD who sanctifies them.'"

"Tell Aaron and his sons to treat with respect the sacred offerings that the Israelites have consecrated to Me, so that they do not profane My holy name. I am the LORD.

When you sacrifice a thank offering to the LORD, offer it so that it may be acceptable on your behalf.

And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD so that it may be accepted of your behalf; the priest is to wave it on the day after the Sabbath.

so that your descendants will know that I made the Israelites live in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.'"

So Moses announced to the Israelites the appointed feasts of the LORD.

And you are to place pure frankincense near each row, so that it may serve as a memorial portion for the bread, an offering made by fire to the LORD.

The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name and cursed. So they brought him to Moses. (His mother's name was Shelomith daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.)

Then Moses spoke to the Israelites, and they took the one who had cursed outside the camp and stoned him. So the Israelites did as the LORD had commanded Moses.

And you shall count off seven sabbaths of years-seven times seven years-so that the seven sabbaths of years amount to forty-nine years.

So you are to consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty in the land for all its inhabitants. It shall be your Jubilee, when each of you is to return to his property and to his clan.

You are to keep My statutes and carefully observe My judgments, so that you may dwell securely in the land.

Then the land will yield its fruit, so that you can eat your fill and dwell in safety in the land.

But I will send My blessing upon you in the sixth year, so that the land will yield a crop sufficient for three years.

But if he cannot obtain enough to repay him, what he sold will remain in possession of the buyer until the Year of Jubilee. In the Jubilee, however, it is to be released, so that he may return to his property.

So whatever belongs to the Levites may be redeemed-a house sold in a city they possess-and must be released in the Jubilee, because the houses in the cities of the Levites are their possession among the Israelites.

Now if your countryman becomes destitute and cannot support himself among you, you are to help him like a foreigner or temporary resident, so that he can continue to live among you.

and if you reject My statutes, despise My ordinances, and neglect to carry out all My commandments, and so break My covenant,

And I will set My face against you, so that you will be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you will rule over you, and you will flee when no one pursues you.
