And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramoth-gilead, and prosper; for Yahweh will deliver it into the hand of the king.

And Yahweh said to him, How? And he said, I will go forth, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, You shall entice him, and shall prevail also: go forth, and do so.

So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramoth-gilead.

So the king died, and was brought to Samaria; and they buried the king in Samaria.

So Ahab slept with his fathers; and Ahaziah his son reigned in his stead.

So he died according to the word of Yahweh which Elijah had spoken. And Jehoram began to reign in his stead in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah; because he had no son.

And Elijah said to Elisha, Tarry here, I pray you; for Yahweh has sent me as far as Beth-el. And Elisha said, As Yahweh lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you. So they went down to Beth-el.

And Elijah said to him, Elisha, tarry here, I pray you; for Yahweh has sent me to Jericho. And he said, As Yahweh lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you. So they came to Jericho.

And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided here and there, so that both of them went over on dry ground.

And he said, You have asked a hard thing: [nevertheless], if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so to you; but if not, it shall not be so.

So the waters were healed to this day, according to the word of Elisha which he spoke.

So the king of Israel went, and the king of Judah, and the king of Edom; and they made a circuit of seven days' journey: and there was no water for the host, nor for the beasts that followed them.

And Jehoshaphat said, The word of Yahweh is with him. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.

And when they came to the camp of Israel, the Israelites rose up and smote the Moabites, so that they fled before them; and they went there and smote the Moabites.

So she went from him, and shut the door on her and on her sons; they brought [the vessels] to her, and she poured out.

And it fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where there was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as often as he passed by, he turned in there to eat bread.

So she went, and came to the man of God to mount Carmel. And it came to pass, when the man of God saw her far off, that he said to Gehazi his attendant, Look, yonder is the Shunammite:

And he called Gehazi, and said, Call this Shunammite. So he called her. And when she came in to him, he said, Take up your son.

So they poured out for the men to eat. And it came to pass, as they were eating of the pottage, that they cried out, and said, O man of God, there is death in the pot. And they could not eat thereof.

So he set it before them, and they ate, and had some left, according to the word of Yahweh.
