And he saith to them: So are you also without knowledge? Understand you not that every thing from without entering into a man cannot defile him:

And he charged them that they should tell no man. But the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal did they publish it.

And so much the more did they wonder, saying: He hath done all things well. He hath made both the deaf to hear and the dumb to speak.

After that again he laid his hands upon his eyes: and he began to see and was restored, so that he saw all things clearly.

(9-2) And his garments became shining and exceeding white as snow, so as no fuller upon earth can make white.

(9-25) And crying out and greatly tearing him, he went our of him. And he became as dead, so that many said: He is dead.

But it is not so among you: but whosoever will be greater shall be your minister.

So you also when you shall see these things come to pass, know ye that it is very nigh, even at the doors.

But Jesus still answered nothing: so that Pilate wondered.

And so Pilate being willing to satisfy the people, released to them Barabbas: and delivered up Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.

And the people were waiting for Zachary: and they wondered that he tarried so long in the temple.

And his mother answering, said: Not so. But he shall be called John.

And seeing him, they wondered. And his mother said to him: Son, why hast thou done so to us? Behold thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.

And they beckoned to their partners that were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came and filled both the ships, so that they were almost sinking.

And so were also James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were Simon’s partners. And Jesus saith to Simon: Fear not: from henceforth thou shalt catch men.

And Jesus answering them, said: Have you not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was hungry and they that were with him:

Which Jesus hearing, marvelled: and turning about to the multitude that followed him, he said: Amen I say to you, I have not found so great faith, not even in Israel.

And they did so and made them all sit down.

And lo, a spirit seizeth him, and he suddenly crieth out, and he throweth him down and teareth him, so that he foameth; and bruising him, he hardly departeth from him.

But they understood not this word: and it was hid from them, so that they perceived it not. And they were afraid to ask him concerning this word.
