And this continued for the space of two years; so that all those that dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord, both Jews and Greeks.

And the man, in whom was the evil spirit, leaped on them, and mastered both of them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

So, by the power of the Lord, the word kept spreading and growing stronger.

And when he had gone up, and had broken the bread, and eaten, and had talked with them a long while, even until break of day, so he departed.

But we, going ahead to the ship, set sail for Assos, there intending to take in Paul: for so had he appointed, intending himself to go by land.

But I don't hold my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may accomplish my course, and the service which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

In all things I gave you an example, that so laboring you ought to help the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he himself said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

And coming to us, and taking Paul's girdle, he bound his own feet and hands, and said, Thus says the Holy Spirit, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owns this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.

And when he came on the stairs, so it was that he was borne of the soldiers for the violence of the crowd;

the colonel commanded him to be brought into the castle, bidding that he should be examined by scourging, that he might know for what cause they so shouted against him.

And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer: for as you have testified concerning me at Jerusalem, so must you bear witness also at Rome.

So he took him, and brought him to the colonel, and says, Paul the prisoner called me to him, and asked me to bring this young man to you, who has something to say to you.

So the colonel let the young man go, charging him, Tell no man that you have signified these things to me.

So the soldiers, as it was commanded them, took Paul and brought him by night to Antipatris.

And the Jews also joined in the charge, affirming that these things were so.

But this I confess to you, that after the Way which they call a sect, so I serve the God of our fathers, believing all things which are according to the law, and which are written in the prophets;

So on the next day, when Agrippa came, and Bernice, with great pomp, and they had entered into the place of hearing with the generals and principal men of the city, at the command of Festus Paul was brought in.

and when they had hoisted it up, they used helps, under-girding the ship; and, fearing lest they should be cast on the Syrtis, they lowered the gear, and so were driven.

Therefore, men, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even so as it has been spoken to me.

and the rest, some on planks, and some on [other] things from the ship. And so it came to pass, that they all escaped safe to the land.
