God clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today but tomorrow is thrown into the fire. So how much more will God clothe you? Don't have so little faith!

So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at a time when you don't expect him!"

So the man said to his gardener, ‘I have been looking for fruit on this tree for three years, but I never find any. Cut it down. Why should it waste the ground?'

The synagogue leader was angry because Jesus healed on the Sabbath day. He said to the people, "There are six days when one has to work. So come to be healed on one of those days, and not on the Sabbath day."

But they would not answer his question. So Jesus took the man, healed him, and sent him away.

So when you are invited, go sit in a seat that is not important. When the host comes to you, he may say, ‘Friend, move up here to a more important place.' Then all the other guests will respect you.

So the servant returned and told his master what had happened. Then the master became angry and said, ‘Go at once into the streets and alleys of the town, and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame.'

The master said to the servant, ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes, and urge the people there to come so my house will be full.

The younger son said to his father, ‘Give me my share of the property.' So the father divided the property between his two sons.

So he got a job with one of the citizens there who sent the son into the fields to feed pigs.

The son was so hungry that he wanted to eat the pods the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.

So the son left and went to his father. "While the son was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt sorry for his son. So the father ran to him and hugged and kissed him.

And get our fat calf and kill it so we can have a feast and celebrate.

My son was dead, but now he is alive again! He was lost, but now he is found!' So they began to celebrate.

So he called to one of the servants and asked what all this meant.

The older son was angry and would not go in to the feast. So his father went out and begged him to come in.

So he called the manager in and said to him, ‘What is this I hear about you? Give me a report of what you have done with my money, because you can't be my manager any longer.'

I know what I'll do so that when I lose my job people will welcome me into their homes.'

"So the manager called in everyone who owed the master any money. He asked the first one, ‘How much do you owe?'

So, the master praised the dishonest manager for being clever. Yes, worldly people are more clever with their own kind than spiritual people are.
