the great trials which your eyes saw, the signs, the wonders, the mighty hand, and the outstretched arm, by which the LORD your God brought you out; so will the LORD your God do to all the peoples of whom you are afraid.

So you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, by walking in his ways and by fearing him.

Like the nations that the LORD makes to perish before you, so shall you perish, because you would not obey the voice of the LORD your God.

Know therefore this day that he who goes over before you as a devouring fire is the LORD your God; he will destroy them and subdue them before you; so you shall drive them out, and make them perish quickly, as the LORD has promised you.

Even at Horeb you provoked the LORD to wrath, and the LORD was so angry with you that he was ready to destroy you.

So I turned and came down from the mountain, and the mountain was burning with fire; and the two tables of the covenant were in my two hands.

So I took hold of the two tables, and cast them out of my two hands, and broke them before your eyes.

For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure which the LORD bore against you, so that he was ready to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened to me that time also.

And the LORD was so angry with Aaron that he was ready to destroy him; and I prayed for Aaron also at the same time.

"So I lay prostrate before the LORD for these forty days and forty nights, because the LORD had said he would destroy you.

So I made an ark of acacia wood, and hewed two tables of stone like the first, and went up the mountain with the two tables in my hand.

and the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and he shut up the heavens, so that there be no rain, and the land yield no fruit, and you perish quickly off the good land which the LORD gives you.

You shall not do so to the LORD your God.

But when you go over the Jordan, and live in the land which the LORD your God gives you to inherit, and when he gives you rest from all your enemies round about, so that you live in safety,

Just as the gazelle or the hart is eaten, so you may eat of it; the unclean and the clean alike may eat of it.

You shall not do so to the LORD your God; for every abominable thing which the LORD hates they have done for their gods; for they even burn their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods.

But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has taught rebellion against the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to make you leave the way in which the LORD your God commanded you to walk. So you shall purge the evil from the midst of you.

And if the way is too long for you, so that you are not able to bring the tithe, when the LORD your God blesses you, because the place is too far from you, which the LORD your God chooses, to set his name there,

It shall not seem hard to you, when you let him go free from you; for at half the cost of a hired servant he has served you six years. So the LORD your God will bless you in all that you do.

For seven days you shall keep the feast to the LORD your God at the place which the LORD will choose; because the LORD your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you will be altogether joyful.
