So Solomon built the house and finished it.

The height of the one cherub was ten cubits, and so was it of the other cherub.

And he set the cherubim within the inner house; and the wings of the cherubim were stretched forth so that the wing of one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched each other in the middle of the house.

So also he made for the door of the temple, posts of olive wood, plain and square.

And in the eleventh year, in the month Tishrin, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all its parts, and according to all the fashion of it. So he was seven years in building it.

And he made the pillars, and two rows of buds round about upon one network, to cover the capitals that were upon the top of the pillars; and he did so to the other pillar.

And upon the top of the pillars was lily work; so was the work of the pillars finished.

And Hiram made the lavers and the pots and the cauldrons and the large hanging pots. So Hiram finished all the work that King Solomon made in the house of the LORD;

And the staves were so long that the ends of them were seen from the holy place before the inner house, but they were not seen outside; and there they are to this day.

So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.

When they sin against thee (for there is no man who does not sin), and thou be angry with them and deliver them to the enemy so that they carry them away captives to the land of their enemies, far or near;

And so return to thee with all their heart and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies who carried them away captive, and pray to thee according to the religion of their own land, which thou gavest to their fathers, the city which thou hast chosen and the house which I have built for thy name;

And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings before the LORD, twenty-two thousand oxen and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the LORD.

And three times in a year did Solomon offer burnt offerings and peace offerings upon the altar, and he burned incense upon it before the LORD. So he finished the house of the LORD.

And King Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all that she desired, and whatsoever she asked for, besides that which he gave her of his royal bounty. So she turned and went to her own land, she and her servants.

So King Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth in riches and in wisdom.

And a chariot was delivered from Egypt for six hundred shekels of silver, and a horse for a hundred and fifty; and so for all the kings of the Hittites and for the kings of Aram, they brought many gifts with their own hands.

And Hadad found great favor in the sight of Pharaoh, so that he gave him to wife the sister of his own wife, the sister of Tahpenes the queen.

And he said to them, Depart yet for three days, then come again to me. So all the people departed.

So Jeroboam and all the people came to Rehoboam the third day, as the king had commanded them, saying, Come to me again the third day.
