When they go into the tent of meeting, or when they come near the altar to minister, to burn a food offering to the Lord , they shall wash with water, so that they may not die.

They shall wash their hands and their feet, so that they may not die. It shall be a statute forever to them, even to him and to his offspring throughout their generations."

And Moses said, "Today you have been ordained for the service of the Lord , each one at the cost of his son and of his brother, so that he might bestow a blessing upon you this day."

For how shall it be known that I have found favor in your sight, I and your people? Is it not in your going with us, so that we are distinct, I and your people, from every other people on the face of the earth?"

so that all the craftsmen who were doing every sort of task on the sanctuary came, each from the task that he was doing,

And they bound the breastpiece by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, so that it should lie on the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastpiece should not come loose from the ephod, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

and the opening of the robe in it was like the opening in a garment, with a binding around the opening, so that it might not tear.

"Then you shall take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it, and consecrate it and all its furniture, so that it may become holy.

You shall also anoint the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and consecrate the altar, so that the altar may become most holy.

At the entrance of the tent of meeting you shall remain day and night for seven days, performing what the Lord has charged, so that you do not die, for so I have been commanded."

And if the leprous disease breaks out in the skin, so that the leprous disease covers all the skin of the diseased person from head to foot, so far as the priest can see,

and the Lord said to Moses, "Tell Aaron your brother not to come at any time into the Holy Place inside the veil, before the mercy seat that is on the ark, so that he may not die. For I will appear in the cloud over the mercy seat.

and put the incense on the fire before the Lord , that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is over the testimony, so that he does not die.

and the land became unclean, so that I punished its iniquity, and the land vomited out its inhabitants.

(for the people of the land, who were before you, did all of these abominations, so that the land became unclean),

"When you offer a sacrifice of peace offerings to the Lord , you shall offer it so that you may be accepted.

"Speak to Aaron and his sons so that they abstain from the holy things of the people of Israel, which they dedicate to me, so that they do not profane my holy name: I am the Lord .

And when you sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the Lord , you shall sacrifice it so that you may be accepted.

and he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord , so that you may be accepted. On the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.

"You shall count seven weeks of years, seven times seven years, so that the time of the seven weeks of years shall give you forty-nine years.
