And turned their rivers into blood, And their streams, so that they could not drink.

And he led them safely, so that they did not fear; But the sea overwhelmed their enemies.

So that he forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh, The tent which he placed among man;

So he was their shepherd according to the integrity of his heart, And guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

So we your people and sheep of your pasture Will give you thanks forever: We will show forth your praise to all generations.

Why have you broken down its walls, So that all those that pass by the way pluck it?

So we shall not go back from you: Quicken us, and we will call on your name.

So I let them go after the stubbornness of their heart, That they might walk in their own counsels.

So pursue them with your tempest, And terrify them with your storm.

So teach us to number our days, That we may get us a heart of wisdom.

So the nations shall fear the name of Yahweh, And all the kings of the earth your glory.

Who satisfies your desire with good things, [So that] your vitality is renewed like the eagle.

For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is his loving-kindness toward those that fear him.

As far as the east is from the west, So far has he removed our transgressions from us.

Like a father pities his sons, So Yahweh pities those that fear him.

As for common man, his days are as grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.

He rebuked the Red Sea also, and it was dried up: So he led them through the depths, as through a wilderness.

Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment; And so the plague was stayed.

They angered him also at the waters of Meribah, So that it went ill with Moses for their sakes;

Let the redeemed of Yahweh say [so], Whom he has redeemed from the hand of the adversary,
