SO the king and Haman went in to the banquet which Esther the queen had prepared.

Then King Akhshirash answered and said to Esther the queen, Who is he and where is he who dares to presume in his heart to do so?

So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the kings wrath appeased.

Then the king held out the golden sceptre toward Esther. So Esther touched it and stood before the king

So the runners and the posts that rode on horseback went out, being hastened by the decree and the kings command which was given at Shushan the palace.

NOW in the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when the time drew near for the kings decree and his commandment to be put into execution, in the day when the enemies of the Jews hoped to overpower them (though the edict was turned to the contrary so that the Jews should have rule over those that hated them),

And the king commanded it so to be done; and the decree was given in Shushan, and the ten sons of Ha man were hanged.

His substance was seven thousand sheep and three thousand camels and five hundred yoke of oxen and five hundred she-asses and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the East.

And it was so, when the days of their feasting were over, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all; for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

And the LORD said to Satan, Behold, all that he has is in your power; only upon himself you shall not put forth your hand. So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD.

So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with cancer from the sole of his foot to his brain.

So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spoke a word to him; for they saw that his affliction was very great.

He frustrates the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot wisely perform their enterprise.

So there shall be hope for the poor, but the wicked shall shut his mouth.

Lo this thing we have searched, and it is so; we have heard it; and you know it for your good.

So that God would hearken to cleanse me, and to spread out his hand and make me whole;

And to be again my comfort, so that I may be restored to my strength without measure; for I have not lied against the words of the Holy One.

So have I inherited months of vanity, and wearisome nights are meted out to me.

As the cloud fades away and disappears, so he who descends to Sheol shall not ascend any more.

So that though your beginning was small he would make your end very great.
