But so much the more went abroad the report concerning him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed of their infirmities.

And he looked round about on them all, and said to him, Stretch forth your hand. And he did [so]: and his hand was restored.

And when Jesus heard these things, he marveled at him, and turned and said to the multitude that followed him, I say to you, I haven't found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

And they did so, and made them all sit down.

In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said, I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you hid these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to babes: yes, Father; for so it was well-pleasing in your sight.

For even as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.

So you are witnesses and consent to the works of your fathers: for they killed them, and you build [their tombs].

So is he that lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which today is [here], and tomorrow is cast into the oven; how much more [he shall clothe] you, O you of little faith?

And if he shall come in the second watch, and if in the third, and find [them] so, blessed are those [slaves].

Blessed is that slave, whom his lord when he comes shall find so doing.

And he said to the multitudes also, When you see the cloud rising in the west, right away you say, There comes a shower; and so it comes to pass.

So therefore whoever he is of you that does not renounce all that he has, he can't be my disciple.

I say to you, that even so there shall be joy in heaven over one sinner that repents, [more] than over ninety and nine righteous persons, who need no repentance.

Even so, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents.

Even so you also, when you shall have done all the things that are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable slaves; we have done that which it was our duty to do.

for as the lightning, when it flashes out of the one part under the heaven, shines to the other part under heaven; so shall the Son of man be in his day.

And as it came to pass in the days of Noah, even so it shall be also in the days of the Son of man.

But the publican, standing far off, would not lift up so much as his eyes to heaven, but smote his breast, saying, God, be merciful to me a sinner.

And they watched him, and sent forth spies, who feigned themselves to be righteous, that they might take hold of his speech, so as to deliver him up to the rule and to the authority of the governor.
