And it was so, that the father of Publius lay sick of fever and dysentery: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laying his hands on him healed him.

where we found brothers, and were entreated to tarry with them seven days: and so we came to Rome.

So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you also that are in Rome.

They have all turned aside, they have together become unprofitable; There is none that does good, no, not, so much as one:

Who in hope believed against hope, to the end that he might become a father of many nations, according to that which had been spoken, So shall your seed be.

And not only so, but we also rejoice in our tribulations: knowing that tribulation works steadfastness;

and not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

Therefore, as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin; and so death passed to all men, for that all sinned:-

But not as the trespass, so also [is] the gift. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God, and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.

And not as through one that sinned, [so] is the gift: for the judgment [came] of one to condemnation, but the gift [came] of many trespasses to justification.

So then as through one trespass [the judgment came] to all men to condemnation; even so through one act of righteousness [the gift came] to all men to justification of life.

For as through the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one shall the many be made righteous.

that, as sin reigned in death, even so might grace reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We were buried therefore with him through baptism into death: that like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.

Even so reckon also yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as you presented your members [as] slaves to impurity and to iniquity to iniquity, even so now present your members [as] slaves to righteousness to sanctification.

So then if, while the husband lives, she is joined to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if the husband dies, she is free from the law, so that she is no adulteress, though she is joined to another man.

So that the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and righteous, and good.

So now it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me.

But thanks to God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then I of myself with the mind, indeed, serve as a slave to the law of God; but with the flesh, to the law of sin.
