the secrets of his heart are made manifest; and so he will fall down on his face and worship God, declaring that God is among you indeed.

Whether then [it is] I or they, so we preach, and so you believed.

For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.

So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

So also it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam [became] a life-giving spirit.

Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I gave order to the churches of Galatia, so you also do.

For as the sufferings of Christ abound to us, even so our comfort also abounds through Christ.

and our hope for you is steadfast; knowing that, as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also are you of the comfort.

who delivered us out of so great a death, and will deliver: on whom we have set our hope that he will also still deliver us;

so that on the contrary you should rather forgive him and comfort him, lest by any means such a one should be swallowed up with too much sorrow.

But if the service of death, written, [and] engraved on stones, came with glory, so that the sons of Israel could not look steadfastly on the face of Moses for the glory of his face; which [glory] was passing away:

So then death works in us, but life in you.

if so be that being unclothed we shall not be found naked.

Therefore we from now on know no man after the flesh: even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know [him so] no more.

and not by his coming only, but also by the comfort with which he was comforted in you, while he told us your longing, your mourning, your zeal for me; so that I rejoiced yet more.

So although I wrote to you, I did not [write] for his cause that did the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered the wrong, but that your earnest care for us might be made manifest to you in the sight of God.

For if in anything I have gloried to him on your behalf, I was not put to shame; but as we spoke all things to you in truth, so our glorying also which I made before Titus was found to be truth.

Insomuch that we exhorted Titus, that as he made a beginning before, so he would also complete in you this grace also.

But now complete the doing also; that as [there was] the readiness to will, so [there may be] the completion also out of your ability.

and not only so, but who was also appointed by the churches to travel with us in [the matter of] this grace, which is being provided by us to the glory of the same Lord, and [to show] our readiness:
