so then let us not sleep, as do the rest, but let us watch and be sober.

The salutation of me Paul with my own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write.

neither to give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause questionings, rather than a dispensation of God which is in faith; [so do I now].

O Timothy, guard that which is committed to [you], turning away from the profane babblings and oppositions of the knowledge which is falsely so called;

And even as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also withstand the truth. Men corrupted in mind, reprobate concerning the faith.

having become by so much better than the angels, as he has inherited a more excellent name than they.

how shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation? which having at the first been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed to us by those that heard;

For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, by so much as he that built the house has more honor than the house.

but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called Today; lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin:

he again defines a certain day, Today, saying in David so long a time afterward (even as has been said before), Today if you shall hear his voice, Do not harden your hearts.

and by reason thereof is bound, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.

So Christ also did not glorify himself to be made a high priest, but he that spoke to him, You are my Son, This day I have begotten you:

And, so to say, through Abraham even Levi, who receives tithes, has paid tithes;

by so much also has Jesus become the surety of a better covenant.

But now he has obtained a more excellent ministry, by so much as he is also the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises.

so Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, apart from sin, to those that wait for him, to salvation.
